WealthSolver & Risk Researcher Quick Compare

Currently there is an issue with Quick Compare where you are unable to generate reports. When you try to run the reports, nothing will generate. This will impact any reports under Research > Wealthsolver > Quick Compare. Iress have identified the issue and have confirmed that further development work will need to take place to restore this functionality.  They have not been able to provide an ETA on this fix.  In the meantime, the work around will be to do your comparison proposals within the client, rather than Quick Compare.

CFS FirstChoice Lonsec Active/ Core Models and CFS FirstChoice MLC Models

As a direct result of the above changes that Iress have made to the SMA/ MA data, unfortunately as CFS FirstChoice had requested the Lonsec Active/ Core and MLC models to be created as models and treated as Managed Accounts (due to a system limitation with CFS FirstChoice), these models are inadvertently being rolled up in Wealthsolver, preventing the modelling of these assets to take place at the underlying asset level. CFS FirstChoice are aware of this issue, and we have been urgently engaging them to make the necessary changes to their data to ensure they are working appropriately in Xplan. We have received feedback as of 21/02/24 from our CFS BDM, that some development work has taken place and potentially this fix will be rolled out to Xplan early next week.  We will update the network, once we see these changes and have been able to test and confirm this issue is resolved.

27/03/2024 - The Xplan Team have been working hard on creating a solution to this issue, which will be a Advice document merging out of Wealthsolver only.  This is currently going through due diligence with Risk & Compliance and are close to getting this signed off.  The network will be notified of launch date and training in due course.  In the meantime, Iress and CFS continue to work together to work through remaining issues.

Bulk Emailing Via Xplan

Iress have notified that several mailbox providers have changed their email server configurations to reject emails that do not meet their send and bulk sender requirements.  These include, but are likely not specific to Yahoo, Google & Telstra (including Bigpond).  These changes are likely going to result in your emails not being received by the intended recipients.

To navigate this, Iress are currently developing site and group administrators to create DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) keys in Xplan at either a site or user group level.  Whilst the development work will allow the creation of the DKIM keys within Xplan, the setup and configuration for its use will need to be done in email domain name system (DNS) records, not within the Xplan settings.  This is the same process where you may have already added / updated the Sender Policy Framework details, that have up until now worked to assist with the email rejections, that have been sent from Xplan.

Once this development work has been completed and rolled out, we will notify you of the further action you can take to assist with continuing to use the Xplan bulk email functionality.
