CALM Xtools+ Changes coming 15 July 2025:

Iress is rolling out enhancements to the Super and Pension modelling in Xtools+. As part of this update, there are key changes you need to be aware of: 


New Legacy Data screen: 
This new screen will allow users to view previously entered input data and re-enter it if needed; such as regular super contributions, account based pension contributions at commencement, and rollovers between Accumulation, Untaxed and SMSF accounts.

 

Data not retained post migration: 

Any values previously entered directly into display table cells (e.g. contributions, withdrawals, and overrides) will be reset to $0 as part of the upgrade. You will also be unable to see when the now redundant Recont Strategy feature was used when starting a pension. 

 

If you want to preserve existing display cell modelling, please manually lock each scenario BEFORE 15 JULY 2025. This is a manual process you need to complete seperately for each scenario.

Please note: Iress has postponed the upgrade from 3 June to 15 July 2025. 

New Outlook and Xplan V3 Plug-in

23/04/25 - The Xplan plug-in (File to Xplan) currently will not work if you have upgraded to the new version of Outlook. IRESS have advised they are currently undertaking development work to ensure the plug-in will work as expected in due course. No time frame has been specified. If you wish to maintain the Xplan plug-in functionality, please continue to use the Classic version of Outlook.
 

Known Issue - Error when attempting diary sync - "Service is temporarily unavailable"

15/10/24 - There is an error in setting up diary sync where the user recieves the following  Service is temporarily unavailable, please try again later: xplan.ServiceUnavailableError(reason="The API version 'V2' has been deprecated.") Iress have shared this is due to a microsoft issue that will need considerable development.

07/05/25 - IRESS have released a temporary fix for this issue. This fix is only an interim measure and will still require a longer-term fix to be implemented. It will remedy the sync issues for existing users, and new users will be able to set up syncs. Reconfiguring the diary sync in your user settings may be required for some users.
